Kevin Gilbert is a Partner at Orbach Huff & Henderson who is a true trial attorney and focuses his career on representation of public entities and their employees.
Kevin’s practice emphasizes on litigation defense in areas including alleged excessive force by police or correctional officers, employment discrimination, alleged civil rights violations, premises liability, dangerous conditions of public property, public accommodations and violations of the various disability laws.
With over twenty years of experience representing public school districts and public agencies throughout the State, Kevin has successfully completed numerous trials on each of the aforementioned topics, including trying cases throughout the State. Although Kevin has extensive trial experience, he is equally successful in obtaining dismissals through motions, including motions to dismiss, demurrers or motions for summary judgment.
Kevin received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the California State University, Sacramento and a Juris Doctorate from San Francisco School of Law.
Kevin is admitted to practice in all California State Courts, the United States District Court – Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts, the Federal Court of Claims and the United States Supreme Court.
