Julia Wolpert is an Associate at Orbach Huff & Henderson. Her practice focuses on defending school districts and public entities in administrative hearings and civil litigation while also providing strategic counsel on employment matters, governance, and district-wide policies and procedures.
A significant component of Julia's practice is pretrial, dispositive motion, and trial motion practice. She has substantial experience research complex legal issues and drafting persuasive motions and oppositions, including pleading challenges, discovery motions, dispositive motions, and trial-related motions. Julia assists clients in navigating disputes with thorough legal analysis and effective written advocacy.
Drawing from previous experience in education law, Julia also advises school districts on personnel and student matters, including employee discipline, student discipline, investigations, the Brown Act, the California Public Records Request Act, and compliance with federal and state laws.
Julia is licensed to practice in all state courts in California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Outside of her profession, Julia enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their rescue animals, and exploring all of the diverse culinary experiences that San Diego has to offer.
