Paul V. Rayburn is an Equity Partner at Orbach Huff & Henderson and is responsible for managing the firm’s complex construction litigation practice. His practice focuses on representing public and private owners in multi-million dollar claims and litigation from inception through trial.

With over 20 years of experience representing clients throughout the state, Paul has successfully resolved hundreds of matters on behalf of K-12 and community college districts, private owners and other parties. His current practice focuses on the representation of public entities, including school districts and community college districts, and private owners in connection with commercial and residential developments such as hotels and mixed-use luxury apartment and retail properties. Paul has handled all aspects of construction law, including contract drafting and interpretation, licensing, bidding, stop payment notices, mechanic’s liens, extra work and payment disputes, and delay, disruption, labor inefficiency and acceleration claims.

Paul is an avid tennis player and used to string tennis racquets and teach tennis as part time jobs in high school and college.

Paul received is Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994, and received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1998. He was an editor on the Loyola Law School International & Comparative Law Journal. While at Loyola, Paul served as an extern to Chief Judge Terry J. Hatter, Jr., United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Paul was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998. He is admitted to practice before the State Courts of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
