Jaqueline Orozco is Senior Counsel at Orbach Huff & Henderson. Jaqueline’s practice is focused on public works construction as it relates to the enforcement of prevailing wages and compliance with Labor Code provisions.  She advises public entities on Brown Act, conflict of interest, Public Record Act matters.  Jaqueline also represents K-12 schools, community colleges and universities in employment actions. 

With over ten years of experience representing public school districts and public agencies throughout the state, Jaqueline has assisted K-12 and community college districts to achieve expedient and efficient resolution in a variety of matters.

Jaqueline is a mentor with the Legal Education Access Pipeline.  She is a member of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.

Jaqueline graduated from Yale University and received her Juris Doctor from University of Iowa College of Law, where she served on the editorial board of the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice.

Jaqueline is a native of Los Angeles who grew up in Watts and graduated from Markham Middle School and David Starr Jordan High.  For ten years, Jaqueline served as Commissioner on the City of Los Angeles, South Los Angeles Area Planning Commission.  Jaqueline has also served on the Board of Directors for the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.
