The Special Education & Student Services team represents school district in disputes involving the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

This expertise focuses on representation at IEP meetings, 504 team meetings, due process hearings and mediations, and appeals that may follow. We also pride ourselves on proactive counsel and representation that uses these disputes to establish processes and programs that build internal expertise and capacity on ensuring compliance with the school district's obligations, and avoiding conflicts and disputes as much as possible.
