Philip Brody is an Associate at Orbach Huff & Henderson. His practice is focused primarily on labor and employment matters related to prevailing wage violations on public works projects and construction litigation for private entities.
Phil previously represented both plaintiffs and defendants across a variety of employment law matters in civil court and state administrative hearings, including wrongful terminations, hostile workplace actions, and wage and hour violations. He has served as employment counsel to all types of business entities, advising on best practices to avoid commonly encountered “labor law landmines.” Phil's litigation experience also includes business to business disputes, particularly mechanics' lien actions and breaches of contract. Additionally, his work with businesses has provided him experience in transactional matters related to contract formation and project management.
Phil is a fanatical sports fan, particularly as a long-suffering supporter of the San Diego Padres, and enjoys attempting to recreate his glory days on the rugby pitch or basketball court, albeit often unsuccessfully.
