Kris Soudah is a California-licensed attorney and real estate broker and an Associate Attorney at Orbach Huff & Henderson. His practice encompasses real estate, commercial contracts, business, and construction, with particular emphasis on complex real property transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects.
Kris advises clients on the full range of legal and business considerations arising from construction, facilities, and commercial operations. His experience includes project planning and development, procurement and bidding, contract negotiation and drafting, and the resolution of transactional and litigation matters. Over the course of his career, he has represented a diverse range of clients, including California public school districts, real estate developers, general and subcontractors, brokers, landlords, technology companies, and other businesses and public entities.
Kris brings to his legal practice more than two decades of experience in the California real estate industry. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, he obtained his California Real Estate Broker’s license and represented clients throughout the Bay Area in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of residential, multifamily, commercial, and investment properties. This extensive firsthand experience in the real estate marketplace informs his legal counsel and provides him with a practical understanding of the commercial, financial, and operational considerations underlying real estate transactions.
A first-generation American, Kris was born and raised in San Francisco and attended Saint Ignatius College Preparatory School. He later pursued his legal education at Golden Gate University, where he completed the university’s joint J.D./M.B.A. program, earning both his Doctor of Jurisprudence and Master of Business Administration degrees in less than four years.
Kris’s uncommon combination of legal training, business acumen, and more than 20 years of real estate experience enables him to approach matters from both legal and commercial perspectives. He provides clients with sophisticated, practical counsel designed to identify risk, advance business objectives, and achieve effective results.
