Iris C. Gomez is an Associate at Orbach Huff & Henderson based out of our San Diego office. Iris’ practice is focused on student services, special education, litigation, and appeals.
With a background encompassing eight years of experience in civil litigation and family law, Iris has cultivated invaluable expertise in handling complex legal matters with heavy written motion work, extensive discovery, depositions, working with experts, and skillful trial advocacy. Iris now uses those vital skills in assisting K-12 school districts throughout the state.
Iris is originally from Santa Monica, CA but grew up in Sin City (Las Vegas, NV) and always bets on red.
Iris obtained her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law, and her undergraduate degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Throughout her studies, she had the opportunity to study abroad and interned at the Ministry of Labor for the Chilean government. Iris is admitted to practice in Nevada and the California State Bar to practice in all state courts, and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
